 I work with a Nikon FE Film camera and shoot in 35mm black and white film. Coming from an artistic background in digital imaging, working in film has allowed me to step away from the world of digital processes and approach photography more intentionally. Since each frame is limited, I have also been more deliberate/intentional with how I capture each image rather than relying on multiple attempts. This process has made me more perceptive to contrast, lighting, and composition. I am heavily drawn to black and white photography because it removes the distraction of color and focuses on tonal range and ambience.


When I take photos, my main focus is on places, objects, and figures that feel meaningful to me or tell a story. A lot of the images I take come from sites that I have an emotional and personal connection to. I’m particularly interested in photographing environments that feel reflective and grounding. Through photography, I transform those personal moments into a visual form, highlighting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My work explores how everyday spaces can hold emotional significance depending on how they are seen and experienced.
