“Dark and Cold Side” is a digital imaging experiment piece formed through several layers of photography, colour grading, and graphic components. Working with a cool-tone palette, I discovered how the techniques within digital imaging, such as overlay and cutout effects, can deeply convey the identity and aura within a self-portrait piece. The blue-toned composition creates an ambience of power and distance, highlighting an optical pattern over narrative. Rather than this piece speaking a specific narrative, it reflects and portrays the process, digital transformation, and texture.
